At about 0040h on Saturday, ranks of a police patrol under ‘Operation Dragnet’ searched a man at Princes Street, Georgetown, in whose possession was found an unlicensed .32 revolver and 19 matching rounds.
He is in police custody and charges will be made shortly, the police said yesterday.
The suspect was previously charged with unlawful possession of another firearm during June 2015. This matter is presently before the courts.
