(Jamaica Gleaner) – A police constable is now in custody after a Christmas Day domestic dispute with his female companion turned deadly.
The St James Police report that 33-year-old businesswoman Terry-Ann Steer was shot and killed at her home on Waterside Place, in Bogue Village, in the parish.
The Jamaica Constabulary Force’s Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) says the Constable’s identity is being withheld pending further investigations.
The Freeport Police report that shortly after 7 o’clock on Friday evening Steer and her male companion has a dispute that turned physical.
It was reported that she was shot after she attacked the constable with an object and was later pronounced dead at hospital.
