Three men died yesterday in separate altercations at Mon Repos, Cane Grove and Tuschen, the police said today.
About 1415h. yesterday, Ganesh Ramlakhan, 34 years, of Mon Repos, ECD, became involved in an argument with another man at Mon Repos during which he was stabbed about his body. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the GPHC, the police said.
The suspect has not yet been arrested. Investigations are in progress.
At about 2130h. last night, Deolall Dookie, 20 years, of Cane Grove, ECD, was reportedly involved in an altercation with a group of men in a motor vehicle along the roadway at Cane Grove.
The police say that he was subsequently found on the roadway with injuries and admitted to the GPHC where he later succumbed. No arrest has been made as yet. The investigations are in progress.
At about 2225h. last night, Dewan Baksh, 22 years, of Tuschen, EBE, was involved in an altercation with a group of men at Greenwich Park, EBE, during which he was stabbed about his body. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Leonora Cottage Hospital, the police said. No arrest has been made as yet.
Investigations are in progress.
