Dear Editor,
Many thanks to publisher of the Kaieteur News for his comments as to why I was fired from the paper in April of last year. I accept them in good stride and fully accept responsibility for the occurrence.
I look forward to another year of bold journalism for our dailies, especially the Stabroek News and Kaieteur News, the watchdogs of our nation, with the former being more balanced in my view. There is always room for improvement and criticisms ought to be welcomed, not fumed over with anger to follow.
Also, where are the stories and news coming out of Berbice? Where are the stories of analyses and features? This goes for both papers ‒ keep up the good work and better is expected in 2016.
