Played at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall on Homestretch Avenue, Central Agricola defeated fellow villagers Agricola by a 4-3 margin. Similarly, Tiger Bay squeaked past Mocha Trainers by a 2-1 score line.
Meanwhile, Mocha defeated Central Georgetown in the final fixture via the walkover route. In the lone female encounter, Tiger Bay crushed Diamond 5-1. Action in the event will continue today at the same locale with eighth matches from 9:00hrs.
The event is set to feature 35 teams from the Tiger Bay, Mocha, Alberttown /North Sophia, Albouystown, Grove, Central Georgetown, Yarrowkabra, Golden Grove/Diamond, Soesdyke/Timehri and Agricola areas.
