Albouystown, Mocha and Tiger Bay A teams along with Mocha B team were winners when the Central Georgetown Police Youth Group coordinated Rainforest Water Knockout Futsal championships continued Saturday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, Homestretch Avenue.
Albouystown A defeated Central Georgetown B 6-2 while Mocha A defeated Golden Grove 4-1 and Tiger Bay A downed Albouystown B also by a 4-1 score line.
In other results, Mocha B squeaked past Grove 2-1, Albouystown defeated Agricola 3-2 and Central Georgetown A edged Agricola 1-0.
Agricola B downed Golden Grove 3-2 on penalty kicks after normal time ended 1-1.
Action in the event will continue Saturday at the same venue with eight matches from 9:00hrs.
The event features 35 teams from areas such as Tiger Bay, Mocha, Alberttown/North Sophia, Albouystown, Grove, Central Georgetown, Yarrowkabra, Golden Grove/Diamond, Soesdyke/Timehri and Agricola.
