Canada-based Guyanese Owen Verwey is tipped to be the new Chief Executive Officer of Go-Invest, sources say.
Verwey has had work experience in development financing and as a senior financial analyst. He worked as an economic and finance planner at the Ministry of Finance between 1999 and 2001. He has a MBA, Finance from the University of Exeter.
He was one of 36 persons vying to replace Keith Burrowes who resigned after the new government took office.
