Extension of stalls: The extension of market stalls is currently ongoing on the corner of Regent Street and Orange Walk. Mayor Hamilton Green told Stabroek News on Monday that the extension is being done in a bid to ease the vendor congestion along Orange Walk. He also stated that similar construction will soon be started east of Bourda Street. There have been concerns that the extension is taking up parking space.
