The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) will take place today at the GCB Boardroom, Regent Street.
Sources close to the GCB told Stabroek Sports yesterday that the AGM will discuss numerous objectives of the body for the new year while board members will review 2015 with the objective of making the GCB more transparent, diligent and productive during 2016 and onwards.
There will be no election of office bearers.
Following the AGM, more concrete details regarding what was discussed along with goals and plans for Guyana’s cricket this year will be revealed, said the source.
Guyana’s cricket has been doing extremely well on the field and the source pointed out that the GCB will also be doing its part to ensure Guyana cricket reaches its pinnacle.
