University of Guyana (UG) law student, Glenfield Dennison who was shot twice in front of his home on Thursday night remains in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Georgetown Hospital as the police investigation continues.
Up to press time yesterday, Dennison was still in the ICU and his family and friends were still tightlipped on the attack.
Dennison, a Belizean, was shot twice on Thursday around 9pm outside his Cummings Lodge, East Coast Demerara residence.
He had just dropped off his girlfriend, who is also a student of UG, when the attack occurred. This newspaper was told that Dennison had just returned home when his relatives heard gunshots. After a while, they ventured outside and saw him lying on the ground with blood oozing from his chest and hand. He was picked up and taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital.
The Police had also stated that they were interested in questioning Dennison’s ex-girlfriend who they suspected to have had useful information about the attack.
