Two men were yesterday remanded to prison after each being charged in a city court with having an unlicenced gun.
Former security guard Ricco Daniels, 33, of 77 Norton Street, Lodge, was charged with unlawful possession of a .32 pistol and 10 live .32 rounds on January 22, at Hadfield Street, Georgetown.
Daniels, who pleaded not guilty to both charges, was remanded to prison by
Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan until his next court appearance on February 22.
Meanwhile, Leron Williams was also remanded by the Chief Magistrate after he was charged with having in his possession a .32 revolver without being a licensed firearm holder.
Williams, 24, who pleaded not guilty to the charge, was allegedly found with the gun on January 23 at D’urban Street, Georgetown.
His next court date is February 15.
