Joint effort: John Fernandes Limited and Muneshwer’s Limited yesterday joined forces to clean the drain on Robb Street, west of Water Street which borders its properties and that of the Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry. A release from Muneshwer’s said that the silted-up drain is crucial in channelling runoff to the Demerara River. This Keno George photo shows the cleaning underway.
