The 2016 rugby season scrums off today at the National Park with the Guyana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) 15s league.
In the season opener from 16:00hrs, the Pepsi Hornets will tackle the Yamaha Caribs.
The league continues tomorrow at the same venue pitting the Police Falcons against the UG Wolves.
The four teams competing in the tournament are UG Wolves, Police Falcons, Yamaha Caribs and the Pepsi Hornets. Notably absent is the Guyana Defense Force (GDF) outfit which would not be competing in the tournament due to several reason.
Also tomorrow, the GRFU will be holding its Constitution Amendments Adoption Meeting. The meeting will be held at the National Resource Centre on Woolford Avenue at 11:00hrs.
