Defending champions Courtland All Stars defeated Rose Hall Town Bakewell by 30 runs recently to reach the final of the Raffik & Sons Construction second division T20 competition for teams in the Lower Corentyne area.
Batting first, Courtland All Stars scored 214-7 with Leroy Bristol, 69 (10 fours and two sixes) Eon Gibson, 42 (three fours and four sixes, Keon Sinclair, 27 and Troy Mathieson, 22, the principal scorers.
Khemraj Mahadeo, 3-25, Collis Butts, 3-35 and Cylus Tyndall 2-43 were the main wicket takers.
In reply, Rose Hall Town Bakewell, reached 174-7 at the end of their allotted overs.
James Fraser, 56, (four fours and four sixes) Mahadeo, 39 and Brandon Prashad 21 were the main contributors.
Bowling for Courtland All Stars, John Percival took 2-21 and Mathieson 2 for 31.
