The second group stage of the fourth annual Milo Schools U20 football championships will commence today at the Ministry of Education ground on Carifesta Avenue with four fixtures.
In the opening fixture at 11:00hrs, Dolphin Secondary will tackle St. Mary’s while Cummings Lodge Secondary will tackle Kingston Secondary from 12:30hrs.
At 14:00hrs, current champions Chase Academy will tackle St. Winifred while East Ruimveldt will oppose Tucville Secondary from 15:30hrs.
Tomorrow at the same venue, Houston Secondary will lock horns with North Ruimveldt from 11:00hrs while Brickdam Secondary will faceoff with North Georgetown Secondary from 12:30hrs.
In the third fixture at 14:00hrs, Lodge Secondary will match skills with St. Joseph’s High while the final fixture of the day will pit Morgan Learning Centre against Queen’s College from 15:30hrs.
Winner of the event will walk away with the championship trophy and $500,000 towards a school project.
The second, third and fourth place finishers will receive $300,000, $200,000 and $100,000 correspondingly towards the funding of a school initiative and the respective trophy.
