Dear Editor,
I hereby offer my sincerest apologies for the tone of my letter in SN captioned ‘All forms of corporal punishment should not be abolished,’ dated January 26, in which I expressed great disappointment in President David Granger’s views concerning ending corporal punishment in the school and the home. I am still opposed to the views expressed by the President. However, the tone of my letter which was written in the heat of the moment was harsh and disrespectful to the President, Dr Roopnaraine and all who might share the same views, and for that I apologise.
Yours faithfully,
Jermaine Locke
