The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) today said it has officially recognised the Guyana Public Service Union (GPSU) as the labour representative for its employees and has engaged in negotiations with the Union to arrive at a collective bargaining agreement.

Management of the GRA had earlier this year notified employees that they are free to join the Union, a GRA release said today. Subsequently on Monday, February 8, 2016 the GPSU led by its President Patrick Yarde, met employees at the Authority’s Camp Street headquarters for a sensitisation session.
