Dear Editor,
Despite candidate Bernie Sanders sweeping to a decisive victory in the New Hampshire Democratic primary on Tuesday in a stunning win over former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, many Guyanese and Americans still believe that the United States of America would be graced with its first woman president at its upcoming general election.
Her experiences as a former Secretary of State, together with her erudite scholarship and the fact she was a former first lady stand her in good stead for that top office, and a majority of her fellow Americans would give her their vote, come Election Day.
Maybe also worldwide, we are witnessing the time when women would be in the forefront in administering the affairs of mankind.
Yours faithfully,
Rooplall Dudhnath
