Community Outreach Programmes in the Guyana Police Force ‘B’ Division (Berbice) saw ranks in collaboration with the residents of Number 76 Village Housing Scheme, Corentyne, Berbice, cleaning the community, the police said today.
Police ranks also conducted a clean-up exercise within the compound of the St. Michael Anglican Church at Hopetown, West Coast Berbice.
Further, partnership between members of Community Policing Groups and the Police in the Division resulted in a quantity of footwear and other articles being distributed to residents of the Hugo Chavez Nursing Home at Onverwagt, West Coast Berbice, the police said.
In the photographs attached, Community Policing members and Police Force ranks are clearing bushes and shrubs at Number 76 Village Housing Scheme, Corentyne, Berbice and distributing footwear and other articles to residents of the Hugo Chavez Nursing Home.
