Half Mile Bulls and Victory Valley Royals claimed wins in their final group fixtures when the Linden Amateur Basketball Association (LABA)/104.3 POWER FM Mash Championships continued on Friday.
The unbeaten Bulls dismantled GGMC Falcons by a 75-50 margin at the Mackenzie Sports Club (MSC) Hard-court in Linden. National guard Terron Welch recorded a game high 29 points in the rout.
He was assisted by the duo of Travin Dryden and Keifer Tappin who chipped in with 11 and 10 points respectively. For the loser, Devon Thompson was the top shot with 12 points.
Meanwhile, Royals downed Block 22 Flames by a 56-42 score line. Nevin Glen led the winner with 15 points while Trevor Profitt assisted with 12 points. On the other side, Sokley Layne and Aubrey Johnson netted 12 and 11 points respectively.
