The Guyana Floodlight Softball Cricket Association (GFSCA) will stage a 10-overs-a-side one day knockout softball tournament at the Carifesta Sports Complex tomorrow.
According to a press release from the organization, the tournament is being used to assist teams with much needed preparation for their trip to Florida, United States of America for the March tournament.
Tomorrow’s tournament will be for players 40 years of age and over and the entrance fee is $10,000 per team.
The first prize is $35,000 and a trophy while the runners up will receive $15,000 and a trophy. The third place team is set to receive one case of Stag beer.
