The UG Wolves will be looking to stay atop the points table when the GTT/GRFU 15s league continues today at the National Park.
The rampant student ruggers have racked up 17 points so far, three more than the Yamaha Caribs, who sit in second place in the four-team league which kicked off last month.
These two teams will clash in today’s fixture at 16:00hrs and the Wolves’ players will have revenge on their minds after going down to the Caribs in their last meeting.
The UG Wolves head the points table following a 99-nil drubbing of the Police Falcons last Saturday. The Caribs on the other hand, clinched a narrow 14-12 victory over Pepsi Hornets.
Meanwhile, under an amended constitution, the Guyana Rugby Football Union will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) tomorrow at the National Resource Centre.
According to a press release, the meeting will see the election of new officer bearers for the union along with other matters.
Clubs eligible to vote at the AGM are Yamaha Caribs, Pepsi Hornets GDF, UG Wolves and the Police Falcons.
