Guyana’s FIFA Referee Assessor Roy McArthur will depart local shores shortly for the Jamaica to assess a 2018 World Cup Qualifier between the home side and Costa Rica.
The match which will be held on March 25, will be staged at the Jamaica National Stadium in Kingston from 19:00hrs.
McArthur will oversee the officiating crew featuring Americans Antonio Marrufo, Frank Anderson, Adam Garner and Edvin Jurisevic.
McArthur, who officiated in the 2006 FIFA World Cup Qualifying match between Honduras and Netherlands Antilles, assessed the 2015 FIFA World Cup Qualifying match between Aruba and Barbados on June 10.
Previously, the veteran official performed duties as assessor in the CONCACAF U20 event in Jamaica in January, in group-4 of the CFU Club Championship in Haiti in April and in the final of the CFU Club Championship in Trinidad and Tobago.
