The Joint Services, comprising the Guyana Defence Force (GDF), the Guyana Police Force, the Guyana Prison Service and the Guyana Fire Service, will be holding a Command Post Exercise (CPX), “Exercise Holdfast” today and tomorrow at Base Camp Ayanganna as part of their preparations for Local Government Election (LGE).
A release from the GDF said that the CPX will see Commanders at all levels being exercised in the assessment and planning of possible scenarios which they may encounter during the LGE.
The release said the aim of the CPX is to prepare Commanders, at all levels, to efficiently and effectively perform their duties during the Local Government Election.
