The candidate for constituency 13 who APNU+AFC withdrew support from over child molestation allegations pulled big votes at two polling stations based on results gathered by Stabroek News last night.
Following a report in Stabroek News on the child molestation allegations against him, APNU+AFC withdrew support from Winston Radcliffe Trevor Harding but this appeared to have had little impact on the people who cast ballots at the Ascension Nursery School yesterday in Local Government Elections.
Harding racked up 175 votes. His closest rival was Ronson Leonard Robert Enoe of Team Legacy on 23 votes. If Harding was to win his seat, it would be a major headache and embarrassment to APNU+AFC which has come under fire over the way in which they handled complaints against Harding.
