Dear Editor,
It is a smart move by the incumbent president of the United States of America Mr. Barack Obama to visit Cuba. He is really cementing both countries’ relationship which would be difficult to undo by a future United States president. Obama is doing a great job by undoing fifty years of wasted energy.
Every presidency has its highs and lows, President Obama is no exception to this. His efforts to restore relations with Cuba is the thing most people of the world currently are impressed with. It should have been done years ago and I am glad he stepped up to make it happen. Bravo Mr. President!
Hope this is another step on the road to ending the asinine Cuban Embargo, a fifty-year failure that’s been an embarrassing bad joke since its inception.
We sincerely just hope the media can stop obsessing about the current fetid and sleazy presidential campaign in the United States so they can cover this incredible, historic and momentous occasion!
Regardless of one’s politics, Cuba’s biggest asset is their charming friendly
people. And a real treat to discover the culture.
