The police are currently investigating the murder of a man who was stabbed to the neck on Sunday evening at Lethem, in Region Nine.
The dead man has been identified as 26-year-old Orin Grandison.
Stabroek News understands that Grandison entered a nightclub located in Lethem and was later seen holding onto his neck, while bleeding profusely.
An alarm was raised and he was taken to the Lethem Hospital before being transferred to the Boa Vista Hospital, where he subsequently died.
The suspect/s is yet to the apprehended as an investigation into the matter is ongoing.
