Following its annual general meeting on March 24, the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GGCI) elected a 21-member council from which the new executive will be chosen.
In a press release yesterday, the GCCI said those elected are Lance Hinds, Vishnu Doerga, Nicholas Boyer, Doris Lewis, Komal Ramnauth, Padma Kunjebeharry, Christopher R. Ram, Shanti Persaud, Colleen Patterson, Dawn Stewart, Eon Grant, Jean Francois-Gerin, Jennifer Cipriani, Navin Prashad, Allison Butters-Grant, Christine Bennett-Blaire, Timothy Tucker, Deodat Indar, Iman Khan, Anijie Lambert and Rosalyn Franklin.
The new executive management committee will be elected on April 4th to serve for the year 2016/17.
The press release said that the Chamber’s income for the year was $25,063,022 while expenditure amounted to $23,834,082.
