A Three Mile Secondary School student drowned on Monday at Dog Point, Bartica while he was on a fishing trip.
Lenon Fredericks, 14, resided at One Mile, Potaro Road Bartica.
On Wednesday, Lenon Fredericks Snr, father of the deceased said that his son left home on Monday to go fishing at the River Front with some friends. However, while at the fishing spot, the father said his son met some boys swimming and decided to go for a swim.
