When the calendar flips to April, the Guyana Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (GABBFF) customary channels its energy to the hosting of the National Novices Championships.
This year is no different.
According to Organising Secretary of the federation, Videsh Sookram, the annual event will be staged April 9 at the Theatre Guild.
Sookram also disclosed that the GABBFF has already garnered sponsorship from numerous entities for the successful hosting of the championship s.
As customary, Fitness Express, Digital Technology along with Mogainzz and Sabina Global Communities are onboard.
The first time competing bodybuilders, eager to don their posing trunks and showcase their chiseled physiques will be placed in the customary categories, namely: under 21-years, flyweight, bantamweight, lightweight, welterweight, light middleweight and heavyweight along with Ms. Bikini and Ms. Body Fitness categories.
The fledgling Men’s Physique division will also be contested.
