A forty-four-year-old woman is currently battling for her life at a city hospital after she was stabbed about her body on Sunday evening by her husband who took his own life.
Dead is Melroy Parker, 47, a mechanic of Kaneville, East Bank Demerara (EBD), who hanged himself.
Abina Parker, a former national cricketer and a professional umpire was rushed to the Diamond Hospital before being transferred to the Georgetown Public hospital
