On Wednesday we observed World Health Day 2016 under the theme: “Beat Diabetes”. I was heartened to see that in his message the Minister of Public Health, Hon. George Norton stated that the Ministry will continue to collaborate with foreign agencies to facilitate training for specialised diabetic care and also to better staff and equip the Diabetic Foot Centres countrywide.
I would like to congratulate Dr. Kumar Sukraj for his hard work and dedication in transforming the Diabetic Foot Centre of the GPHC. As Head of the Diabetic Foot Centre of the GPHC, Dr. Kumar Sukraj is adamant that here should be very high regards for customer care. He was instrumental in training his staff and ensuring that they followed the safety and medical procedures to ensure the highest quality of patient care and recovery from diabetes.
I would like to offer best wishes to Dr. Kumar Sukraj and encourage him to keep up the good work.
