Long-serving, senior Ministry of Finance employee Clyde Roopchand, 69, was laid to rest yesterday after a funeral service at the St Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, Friendship, East Coast Demerara. Prior to the funeral service, a viewing was held at the Arthur Chung Convention Centre, Liliendaal. Roopchand passed away last week in the US after a brief illness.
