A guard was granted $100,000 bail by a city court on Friday after denying a charge that he stole almost $200,000 in items.
Gavin Seymour, 22, who is attached to Integrated Security Service, was brought before Magistrate Annette Singh on a charge that he stole a quantity of items from Lennox Gibson.
According to the charge, Seymour, between March 12 and March 14, at Carifesta Avenue, stole a chain, valued $45,000, a drill, valued $35,000, a 5 gallon spray can, valued $8,000 and other items valued $185,000.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge and was subsequently granted his release on $100,000 bail, with the condition that he report to the police every Friday.
The matter will be heard again on May 3.
