Transparency Institute Guyana Inc (TIGI) last night said it will request a meeting with embattled Minister of State Joseph Harmon and send him a series of questions about his conduct and it is maintaining its stand on the corrupt nature of the minister’s actions.
TIGI’s charge about Harmon’s corrupt behaviour relating to his admission about appointments being made to reward campaign donors and supporters drew a sharp rebuke on Thursday from President David Granger who said the group should have sought clarifications from Harmon before issuing its statement to the press.
“In response to President Granger, TIGI will make an exception to our policy of using what is publicly available and will write Minister Harmon to request a meeting and to send him a set of questions on the matter at hand. Without fear or favour, TIGI remains committed to
