The Guyana Police Force yesterday issued a wanted bulletin for Colwyn Croal, who is being sought for questioning in relation to the attempted murder of a Linden resident and her employer who were shot several times almost one week ago.
In a statement, the police said, Croal called `Alex Croal’, 47 is wanted for questioning in relation to the attempted murder of Simone Belle and Sherwin Hughes on April 3 at Half Mile, Wismar, Linden.
In a statement issued previously, the police had said investigations into the incident revealed that Belle had just arrived home in a vehicle driven by Hughes, when shots were discharged at them in the vehicle by a man who is reported to have shared a relationship with Belle. The relationship ended several months ago.
Belle was shot four times while Hughes sustained two bullet wounds.
They were rushed to the Linden Hospital Complex and subsequently transferred to the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) before being discharged.
Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Croal whose last known address is Lot 604 Half Mile, Wismar, Linden is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 444-3406, 444-3274, 444-3512, 225-2227, 225-6411, 911 or the nearest police station.
All information, the police said, will be treated in “strict confidence”.
