The Ministry of Public Infrastructure (MPI) is seeking a car crusher – estimated to cost $42m – to dispose of derelict vehicles.
In an advertisement in yesterday’s Sunday Stabroek, MPI invited bids under its Guyana Restoration Project for the collection, processing and disposal of derelict vehicles.
The engineer’s estimate for the car crusher is $42m.
Interested bidders can access the relevant documents beginning tomorrow from MPI. Bids will be opened on May 10 at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board at Main and Urquhart streets.
In the advertisement, the Ministry also advertised for the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of a 120-tonne Electronic Truck Scale. The engineer’s estimate is $5m.
