The second leg of the ongoing Demerara Volleyball Association (DVA) school tournament continued last Friday at the St Rose’s High School.
Marian Academy, Bishops’ High, Queen’s College, St Rose’s High, Guyana Trust College and St. Stanislaus, pulled out all the stops during their matches.
In Game one Rose’s beat Queen’s College 16-14, while in game two Bishops’ High got the better of St Stanislaus 25-12 and Marian continued their winning streak in Game three against Guyana Trust College, winning 22-11.
Queen’s College then defeated Bishops’ High in game four to win 22-12. In Game 5 it was an easy win for St Rose’s who hammered the Guyana Trust College 25-7.
Game six was dominated once again by Marian Academy who beat St Stanislaus 22-13 while St Rose’s ended off game seven against Bishops’ High, losing 8-23.
The final Game 8 saw Queen’s College winning against Guyana Trust 25-11. The tournament continues tomorrow.
