Dear Editor,
Spread across the front page of Sunday Stabroek, April 17, 2016 is a photograph of a barricade outside of the Embassy of the United States of America. The structure is in the colours of our national flag. As a Guyanese I am perturbed. Imbedded in my mind fifty years ago is the information that the colour red must always be on the top of the flag. In the picture red is at the bottom. Are we to assume that the painters of the barricade want us to see that things outside of the United States of America Embassy are Up – Side – Down?
Yours faithfully,
Clinton Conway
