The Guyana Lands and Surveys Commission will commence inspections of state and government land in five areas at Mocha Arcadia on the East Bank Demerara and is asking persons connected to them or who have interests to be part of those inspections.
“All persons who have any rights, title or interest, claim to or over the below mentioned areas are hereby requested to attend the inspections and record a claim within seven days of the commencement of the inspection surveys,” GL&SC stated in an advertisement published in the Sunday Stabroek on May 1.
The names of the former plantations scheduled for inspection and which are located at the back of Mocha are farmlands at Two Friends, Watville, Woerden, Utrecht and Anna Maria.
The GL&SC said that in order to ensure that the rights, title and interest of all the connected persons are recorded they are to attend the inspections.
The scheduled inspections begin in 19 days and persons can contact the GL&SC for more information.
