At about 1455h. yesterday, the police say that Deoram Persaud, 39 years, of Belmont, Mahaica, ECD, was riding a motorcycle along the roadway at Kairuni, Soesdyke-Linden Highway, allegedly at a fast rate, when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed.
Persaud, who was not wearing a safety helmet at the time, suffered injuries and was pronounced dead on arrival at the Linden Hospital.
Investigations into the fatal accident are in progress.
