Dear Editor,
I am really happy that Tony Cozier lived to see the West Indies triple triumph in the latest World Cups. No one would have enjoyed it more. It is a pity he could not be at the Kensington Oval next month to see the Aussies and South Africans go up against the West Indians at a time when the latter should be high in confidence.
Tony loved the game, and in particular the West Indian version of it. He contributed immensely to the history, the literature, and the broadcasting of the game, and will be sorely missed by cricket lovers all over the world.
The best to all of his close family, who can rest assured that his memory will last for a very long time.
Yours faithfully,
Romain Pitt
