The Guyana Police Force has advised that the Berbice Bridge Company Inc. is not authorised to demand and collect fines from persons for offences committed on the Berbice Bridge.
A statement issued yesterday by the police said persons from whom such demands were made and who had to pay fines are asked to go to the nearest police station and report the matter.
