Brenessa Thompson is once again grabbing headlines for all the positive reasons.
Having already qualified for this year’s Olympic Games in the 100m, the US based sprinter on Thursday in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, rewrote the record books by lowering the national 200m record.
Thompson clocked 23.19s to erase the 12-year old record of 23.33s previously held by Aliann Pompey.
