“According to Public Relations and Communications Officer of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF), Debra Francis, the team was extremely happy to visit the institution and view same as an opportunity to stimulate female involvement in football”.
“‘This visit is important as we, at the GFF, see your participation in the game not only as a chance for you to witness the highest level of football on display in Guyana but also as an opportunity for you to become interested, get involved in the sport, develop your skills and hopefully represent Guyana as part of the Lady Jags team. We have a developing female programme and would love to have more girls who dream and work towards becoming female footballers’” it added.
“The Golden Jaguars team members interacted and played with the children who were given an opportunity to take photos with the team and their favourite player. The visit lasted for almost two hours and consisted of the following team members: Ishankie Charles, Trayon Bobb, Jahaal Greaves, Curtez Kellman, Hubert Pedro, Daniel Whyte, Delon Lanferman, Alex Murray, Cash London, Mustafa Haqq and Tichard Joseph”.
