‘Jubilee Pageantry’ Some of the Miss World Guyana Pageant contestants striking a pose at the Jubilee Float Parade yesterday.
The Ministry of Natural Resources’ float which showcased the Independence Arch and the jaguar.
This Ministry of Communities reveller was having a good time on the road. Their costumes were designed by Jermain Broomes and Team. Theirs was a medium band of 97 revellers.

The Ministry of Education’s Department of Culture, Youth and Sport, Allied Arts Department’s float titled ‘Celebration of the Spectacular Educational achievements’. The design of the float was done in collaboration with the Burrowes School of Art and designer Neilson Nurse. The float depicts the art and drama of Guyana. This contingent had 100 revellers following joyfully behind it.
