President of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB), Dave Cameron (left) today paid a courtesy call to Minister of State, Joseph Harmon (centre) at the Ministry of the Presidency. Cameron was accompanied by Secretary of the Guyana Cricket Board and Director of the WICB, Anand Sanasie (right) and discussed matters related to the functioning of the WICB, a release from the Ministry of the Presidency said.
Harmon also inquired about preparations for the Tri-Nation Series that will be held in Guyana on June 3, 5 and 7 at the Guyana National Stadium. Cameron and Sanasie have both come under pressure over their roles at the WICB and the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) respectively. There have been mounting calls in the Caribbean for Cameron to go and for the WICB to be dissolved. Sanasie’s GCB has also faced similar calls here. (Ministry of the Presidency photo)
