A revolver and several spent shells were yesterday handed over to law enforcers in ‘F’ Division following a fight between two men, one of whom has been arrested.
In a press release, the police said investigations so far have revealed that the duo, Festus Benn and Gary Boucher, had an argument at Kanaruk, Mahdia which escalated into a fight.
According to the release, Boucher who was allegedly armed with the firearm discharged two rounds, but Benn managed to take away the weapon and promptly handed it over to the law enforcers. It was a .38 snub-nosed revolver and two spent shells of .38 rounds
No one was injured and Boucher is currently in custody assisting with the investigations.
