Dear Editor,
Reconciliation, national unity and social cohesion would require us to look into the claims of marginalization and discrimination (whether real or perceived) that occurred under previous governments and the present government.
It would be interesting to discover if said marginalization/discrimination was deliberate. Did the PNC government marginalize and discriminate against people? Did the PPP/C government marginalize and discriminate against people? Is the APNU+AFC government marginalizing and discriminating against people?
Everyone is created equal and as such every individual should have equal access to Guyana’s opportunities and resources. I wonder if the PPP/C and the APNU+AFC are actually listening and taking seriously these claims of marginalization and discrimination.
