Just over two and a half years after it was formally launched, Silhouette Restaurant has now decided to cease its day-to-day operations beginning July 1.
The decision was made public through an advertisement in yesterday’s edition of the Stabroek News. It read, “Due to circumstances beyond our control, we regret to advise that as of July 1, 2016 Silhouette Restaurant will cease its day to day operations until further notice.”
However, it went on to say that reservations for events such as birthdays, weddings, luncheons, and dinner and board meetings would still be accommodated by the restaurant with prior notice.
Further, the restaurant will continue to provide on-site and off-site catering including sushi for all occasions and will be opened for advanced bookings of private functions and events.
When contacted for additional details on the decision to cease day-to-day operations, Stabroek News was told that management would have to be notified before any additional information could be communicated.
Located on the middle floor of the building housing the fast food facility, JR Burgers, at Sandy Babb Street, Kitty, Silhouette opened its doors in December, 2013
